Colored Salt - Sale Colorato

Ciao a tutti!

Today we have a 2 part craft. Yesterday we made colored salt and today my big kid used it to make me a birthday card! Yes, today is my birthday, international holiday of joy and love. She had so much fun because every aspect of it is super messy. 

Oggi ne abbiamo due di laboratori per voi. Ieri abbiamo fatto il sale colorato e oggi mia figlia ha ha usato il sale colorato per farmi un biglietto d'auguri! Si, oggi è il mio compleanno, festa internazionale di gioia e amore. La mia piccola si è divertita tantissimo perché ogni aspetto di questo laboratorio fa un gran casino.

I'm not gonna lie, the whole salt spilling everywhere had me in a superstitious frenzy but after making everybody toss some of it over their shoulders we managed to do a pretty fun craft.

A dire il vero, l'idea del sale versato ovunque non è che mi tranquillizzava molto, ma dopo averne fatto tirare un pochino dietro le spalle a tutti siamo riusciti a divertirci.

For this part of the craft you will need:

Salt
A number of small containers 
Markers 

Pro tip: I added a bit of watercolor to the salt after it had sit overnight with the markers because some of them didn't have enough juice.

Un tot di contenitori piccoli
Pennarelli

Un suggerimento pro: ho aggiunto un po' d'acquarelli ad alcuni colori perché i pennarelli si vede che non erano abbastanza succosi.

Pour some salt into your containers, you can do this step for greater precision or you can let your littles do it if you don't mind the spills.

Versate un po' di sale nei contenitori, questo passo lo potete fare voi per un risultato più preciso oppure fatelo fare ai piccoli se non vi disturbano le fuoriuscite.

















Have your child choose the marker to put in each container. Move the marker around and mix the salt until it is totally colored. We left ours overnight to make sure it really soaked in, although a couple of them required some watercolor help.

Fate scegliere ai vostri piccoli quali pennarelli da mettere nel sale. Mischiate bene il sale con il pennarello perché sia tutto colorato. Abbiamo lasciato i pennarelli nel sale tutta la notte per assicurarci che fosse bello pieno di colore, anche se alcuni si sono poi fatti aiutare dagli acquarelli.

Hi everyone! Ciao a tutti! My daughter loves her long hair and (anyone who knows me will attest to this) I am weirdly OCD about her hair being always pulled back. Happy Halloween!  Buon Halloween! This is just a very quick post to remind you all that a little bit of creativity can turn anything into a fun festive dish.  Questa è un post velocissimo per ricordarvi tutti che con un po' di creatività potete far diventare qualsiasi cosa in un piatto speciale e festivo. Paper Baskets - Cestini di carta

Hi everybody! Ciao a tutti! Tomorrow is Easter so my daughter thought she should wake me up at 6am because "today is the last day to do Easter things". Domani è Pasqua quindi mia figlia stamattina ha pensato bene di svegliarmi alle 6 perché "oggi è l'ultimo giorno per fare le cose di Pasqua".  Our eggos are painted, so now we have to make ourselves some paper baskets and fill them with paper grass, painted eggs and some sweets. Le nostre uova sono state dipinte, quindi ora ci servono i cestini di carta da riempire d'erba di carta, le uova dipinte e un po' di dolcetti.
