Celery Roses - Rose di sedano

We have another craft for you today. We had so much fun with the food printing math game that we decided to do some celery roses. My big kid added some buggos in there, because what kind of garden would it be without some bugs?

Abbiamo un altro laboratorio per voi oggi. Ci siamo divertiti così tanto a fare il gioco con gli stampi di cibo che abbiamo pensato di fare delle rose con un sedano. La mia grande ha aggiunto delle bestioline al suo giardino di rose, perché che razza di giardino sarebbe senza insetti?

For this craft you will need:

Tempera paints
A celery heart + a celery stalk (one of the pieces fell off of our root so we used that)
A brush
Thick paper
A paint tray large enough to fit the celery

Per questo laboratorio vi serviranno:

Colori a tempera

Un cuore di sedano + un gambo (a noi ci si è staccato un pezzo quindi abbiamo usato quello)

Un pennello

Della carta spessa

Una vaschetta per il colore, abbastanza largo da intingervi il sedano

Put a nice amount of paint into your paint tray. 

Mettete una quantità di colore nella vaschetta.

Have your child dip the celery, cut side down, into the paint and then stamp it onto their paper. You might have to show younger children how to do it a few times. 

Fate intingere ai vostri bambini il sedano nel colore, girato con il lato tagliato in giù. Poi fateli stampare il sedano sulla carta. I più piccoli potrebbero aver bisogno di un po' d'aiuto le prime volte.  

Depending on the consistency of the paint you are using you should be able to get a few stamps out of one dip, I find that the best, clearest roses come at stamp #3 with our kind of paint. 

In base alla consistenza dei vostri colori dovrete intingere il sedano più volte, i nostri colori invece regalavano una rosa perfetta verso il timbro numero 3. 

Then using the brush, paint a stem onto the roses. You might have to do this for smaller children. They can also use their finger if you are cool with the mess, which will likely be extensive.

Poi usando il pennello, aggiungete un gambo alle rose. Per i pi`¨piccoli dovrete fare voi questo passo. Possono usare anche le dita se vogliono e se non vi disturba il casino che ne seguirà, che sarà estensiva.

Next, using a celery stalk, dip the cut side into the paint and stamp some leaves.

Per ultima cosa, intingete il gambo del sedano e date delle foglie alle vostre rose.

That's it! They have made a beautiful rose garden.
