Paper Bows - Fiocchi di carta

Today I'm going to share with you how to make these adorable little paper bows. They are really easy, my 6yo made a couple (albeit after a few frustrating failed attempts).

Oggi vi spiego come si fanno questi piccoli fiocchi di carta che sono carinissimi e anche abbastanza facili, mia figlia che ha 6 anni li ha fatti con me (ammesso che un paio li ha fatti a pezzi dal nervoso).

For this decoration you will need:

A thin strip of paper
A teeny tiny strip of paper (1/8 inch)
Glue or glue stick

Per questa decorazione vi serviranno:

Una striscia di carta

Una striscietta piccina di carta (.5cm)

Colla o colla stick

Fold your larger strip in half.

Piegate a metà la striscia più grande.

Fold one end out and down to the center fold.

Piegate in giù e verso fuori una estremità della striscia, fino ad arrivare alla piega centrale.

Repeat on the other side.

Ripete con l'altra estremità. 

Cut the corners off on the side with TWO FOLDED PARTS (not the one fold and two free ends), LEAVING SPACE IN THE MIDDLE.

Tagliate gli angoli del lato in cui sono DUE PARTI PIEGATE (non una piega e due estremità),  LASCIANDO SPAZIO IN MEZZO

Unfold and cut the corners off of the center fold.

Aprite le pieghe tagliate e tagliate gli angoli della piega centrale.

Place your strip face down (the center fold should be pointing up at you) on your surface.

Ponete la vostra striscia a faccia in giù (la piega centrale dovrebbe puntare in su verso di voi) sulla tua superficie.

[You can round the pieces between the snipped folds by rubbing it on one of the blades of your scissors, make sure you are curling them towards you.]

[Potete arrotondare i pezzi tra gli angoli tagliati, facendoli passare sulla lama della forbice, assicuratevi di arrotondarli verso di te.]

Put a little glue on either side of the center fold and bring the side fold onto it. Press down and hold until the glue sets. Repeat on the other side.

Mettete un po' di colla su entrambi i lati della piega centrale e portate la piega laterale fino a essa e tenete fermi i pezzi finché non si siano incollati bene. Ripetete su l'altro lato.

Add some glue to the back of the loops and squeeze the loops of the bow onto the tails.

Aggiungete un po' di colla dietro alle curve e stringetele bene in modo da farle aderire alle code.

Glue your tiny strip to the center starting from the back and wrapping it all the way around, and trim off any excess.

Incollate la striscetta piccolina in mezzo, attaccandola dietro e facendo il giro, poi tagliate via l'eccesso. 

Trim the excess "ribbon" end. You can get decorative here, I like either the classic snip in the center or opposite diagonals, but you could do anything you like.

Accorciate il "nastro". Potete essere anche un po' artistici qui, a me piace tanto il look classico con le punte forcute ma anche la diagonale opposta non mi dispiace affatto.
