Pointillist Garden - Giardino puntillista

You may remember our flower tree craft which was very fun and very messy. The other day we had another q-tip mishap so, naturally, we decided to use them for a craft.

Forse vi ricordate il nostro lavoretto del albero di fiori, che è stato tanto bello quanto caotico. L'altro giorno abbiamo avuto un altro incidente con i cotton fioc quindi, naturalmente, li abbiamo usati per un altro lavoretto. 

For this craft you will need:

Q-tips
Acrylic paint
Paper
A rubber band

For my big kid I painted a few green stems and some grass with a single q-tip.

Per la mia grande ho fatto dei gambi e un po' d'erba con un singolo cotton fioc.

Then she took a bunch (or bouquet as I like to call them) of q-tips tied together with a rubber band and used it to stamp some flowers at the tops of the stems.

Poi lei ha usato i mazzetti di cotton fioc per fare i fiori in cima al gambo.

She also made her own stems and grass obviously, because she's big and does things "by herself".

Ha anche fatto dei gambi lei ovviamente perché lei è grande e fa "da sola".

For my 2yo I gave him one tool for every color and let him stamp them all over the page.

Al piccolo, invece, ho dato il foglio e un utensile per ciascun colore e ho lasciato che facesse lui degli stampi in libertà.

Then I took a single q-tip and showed him how to make stems from his flowers.

Poi ho preso il cotton fioc singolo e hli ho fatto vedere come creare i gambi per i suoi fiori.

He wanted to try doing it the way his sister did and it was pretty awesome but definitely abstract ;)

Ha provato anche lui a farlo come ha fatto la sorella e sono venuti molto fighi, ma sicuramente astratti ;)
