Easter Left-overs Nest - Nido dei resti di Pasqua
Hi everyone!
After our egg hunt yesterday we had some crafts around the apartment. We made a wreath with some of the egg shapes but there were some of them that were just too special to go in with the rest of them.
When I was little, Easter meant waking up with my cousins to an elaborate scavenger hunt planned by my brilliant Uncle. I even remember that he would make one for the older girls and one for the pair of us young ones so we had the opportunity to figure out our own clues. This year my daughter can read...
I used the potato eggs as my clue cards and I wanted a special craft to mark the occasion. You could use potato eggs, egg cut-outs, collage eggs, any egg shape would work.
We have turtle doves who have been trying to make a nest on our water heater for the past 2 weeks since we love to leave them crumbs and both of the kids "talk" to them. We fear a fire hazard so we have been slowly undoing the nest as they bring their materials from the nuns' garden across the street (#ThatRomanLife). The kids have been fascinated by this ingenious instinct so I thought I could marry some tradition with scientific curiosity into one cool craft.
For this craft you will need:
Paper egg shapes
A sheet of paper
Paper grass
Glue or glue stick
Cut a nest out of your paper.
Glue the eggs to the nest.
Add the crinkly grass.

Quando ero piccola, la Pasqua per me significava svegliarmi con le mie cugine e imbarcarci tutte su una caccia alle uova realizzato da mio Zio geniale. Ricordo persino che ne faceva uno per le grandi e uno a parte per noi due piccole, così avevamo l'opportunità di cervellarci per capire gli indizi da sole. Quest'anno mia figlia sa leggere...

Ho usato le uova di patate come le cartoline per gli indizi e volevo un laboratorio speciale per ricordarle. Potete usare le uova di patate, the uova ritagliate, the uova a collage, qualsiasi forma di uova funzionerebbe.

Abbiamo due tortorelle che stanno cercando di fare il nido sopra alla nostra caldaia per circa 2 settimane siccome ci piace tanto lasciarle le briciole e i bambini "ci parlano". Temiamo un pericolo d'incendio quindi tutti i giorni smontiamo i materiali che riportano dal giardino delle suore (#QuellaVitaRomana). I bambini sono affascinati da questo istinto così ingegnoso quindi ho pensato di poter congiungere la tradizione con un po' di curiosità scientifica in un laboratorio unico.
For this craft you will need:

Per questo laboratorio vi serviranno:
Forme di uova
Un foglio di carta
Colla o colla stick
Cut a nest out of your paper.
Ritagliate un nido dal vostro foglio.
Glue the eggs to the nest.
Incollate le uova al nido.
Add the crinkly grass.
Aggiungetevi l'erba di carta.
