Paper Baskets - Cestini di carta
Hi everybody!
Tomorrow is Easter so my daughter thought she should wake me up at 6am because "today is the last day to do Easter things".
Our eggos are painted, so now we have to make ourselves some paper baskets and fill them with paper grass, painted eggs and some sweets.
I have two kinds of baskets for you today, one using a square sheet of paper and the other is a round basket.
For this craft you will need:
A square sheet of paper (size is up to you)
A long strip of paper (or two)
Glue or glue stick
Scissors
First thing you do is fold your square in 1/3s.
Unfold your square and touch the ends together. Round the corners.
Then make equal cuts in along the folds.
Bring the side ends together and glue them onto the middle flap.
Repeat on the other side.
The strip of paper is for the handle, make sure it's long enough to reach side to side. If you don't have a paper that's long enough, you can make two smaller ones on either side.
Add your handle(s).
Decorate.
For this craft you will need:
A long strip of paper (the longer the strip, the wider your diameter will be)
3 (or more) thinner strips of paper
Glue or glue stick
Wrap your large strip into a circle and glue the ends together.
Glue one of your thinner strips to make the handle.
The rest of your strips are to create a bottom. Glue the ends of the strips to the inside of your basket and make sure the loop doesn't go past the bottom of your basket or it won't stand up. Glue as many strips as you need to create a bottom that your eggs won't fall through.
I decorated with some paper bows and paper flowers, and I filled them with some paper grass.
Ciao a tutti!
Square - Quadrato
For this craft you will need:
A square sheet of paper (size is up to you)
A long strip of paper (or two)
Glue or glue stick
Scissors
Per questo laboratorio vi serviranno:
Un foglio quadrato (di qualsiasi misura)
Una striscia lunga di carta
Colla o colla stick
Forbici
First thing you do is fold your square in 1/3s.
Unfold your square and touch the ends together. Round the corners.
Riaprite le pieghe e portate le estremità insieme. Arrotondate gli angoli.
Then make equal cuts in along the folds.
Fate dei tagli in dentro sulle pieghe su i quattro lati.
Bring the side ends together and glue them onto the middle flap.
Repeat on the other side.
Ripete sul altro lato.
The strip of paper is for the handle, make sure it's long enough to reach side to side. If you don't have a paper that's long enough, you can make two smaller ones on either side.
Add your handle(s).
Decorate.
Round - Rotondo
For this craft you will need:
A long strip of paper (the longer the strip, the wider your diameter will be)
3 (or more) thinner strips of paper
Glue or glue stick
Colla o colla stick
Wrap your large strip into a circle and glue the ends together.
Glue one of your thinner strips to make the handle.
I decorated with some paper bows and paper flowers, and I filled them with some paper grass.
